Harvey, money, and mining in Stardew Valley

OKAI so i was at first dating haley in stardew valley bt got bored and started dating harvey, hes cool but i really hate that you can only talk to them once a day!!!! hes very sweet tho and his loves are pretty easy to get, like coffee. But i am in such desperate need of money, ive been playing for a little less than a month and its been a year in game already and rn its towards the end of summer, i am so bad at farming i usually only focus on fisihng and miining which kind of get me some money but not as much as id like to have, right now i literally only have 2000, i just bought an upgrade for my axe and im kind of mainly focusing on finishing the community center. Should I keep rushing the community center or should i focus on other things? How do I get to Calico desert? should i focus more on farming? How do i get more money!!!! please help!!!!
