Journal Entry #5: 02/03/23

It’s my birthday! Even though it’s almost over, I had a great time.

My classmates and some of my teachers wished me happy birthday. My anatomy teacher even made me a small card. I got the presents I wanted, like the TMBG shirt (pictured somewhere below). And of course, I got some money. Also, since I’m eighteen now, I registered to vote, even though it will be awhile! It was sunny all day, which was so refreshing given the gloomy week I’d had, and I did really well (I think) on my Econ test.

Even though I had planned to get some sushi for the first time, we weren’t able to. But, I did get to watch what felt like the gymnastic meet of the century. The opposing team had an Olympian who was stunning! After a couple stumbles in the start of the meet, things started to pick up. The crowd cheered loudly after just about every stick, and they were handing out tens like they were candy! (There were three tens given). It was just, so cool, likely because it was so rare. I don’t think I’ve ever witnessed a ten, or seen to Olympian gymnasts for that matter!

Tomorrow though, I’m gonna clean my room (and hopefully get that sushi I always wanted). Oh, and go to the fundraising event my school’s hosting. It’s supposed to be super fun.

Oh also, 2/3/23, pretty cool date arrangement, huh? Only two numbers used (three, if you count zero in this case).

I really should be getting to bed now.
