25 questions relating to music !

i wanted to do this for funsies ! ! <:)

1. Is there one artist or band that you absolutely love more than any others?

tbh? i LOVE miracle musical. i LOVE grandson. i LOVE jhariah. those are some of my main ones - i think they're all super cool and awesome and i listen to all of them practically daily :D ! ! 

2. Is there an artist or band that you absolutely cannot stand?

i really don't know? i haven't recently encountered any that i haven't been able to listen to - so no! as of right now 

3. Do you know any up and coming artists that you're a fan of?

i don't think so? a lot of the artists i listen to practically already have made a name for themself and have been around for a while 

4. Do you play any music?

i mean, i play classical music! i'm a violist :]

5. Is there a genre of music you tend to listen to more than others?

most DEFINITELY vocaloid (can argue that vocaloid being just one genre is like ,, , eh but) or modern alternative rock ! also indie pop because a lot of the artists i listen to apparently fall under that

6. Do you collect vinyl?

nope, but i'd literally LOVE to! i just can't right now 

7. How old where you when you first got into music?

dude - i've always grown up listening to music, it's always been a huge interest of mine ! i can't pinpoint an exact time frame but if i were to guess i think around 6 is when i actually started looking into music 

8. Who was the artists that sparked your love of music?

MIRACLE MUSICAL / TALLY HALL ! ! also many classical pieces (one i remember the most from when i was really young was this piece by mahler iirc??) and a lot of the artists my parents would play (aka oldschool black artists)

9. What's your preferred method of listening to music?

if i cannot feel that music in my VEINS if i cannot feel it rattling through my bones i simply am listening to it wrong (i listen with my headphones on full volume most times, or if i can, play it really loudly in a room with a speaker)

10. Have you gone to any concerts?

a few ! BTS and twosetviolin are ones i've gone to ! ! <:)

11. What was your most memorable concert that you've gone to?

most definitely twosetviolin world tour, eddy and brett were so - them ! like, they were truly in their essence and i just loved them so much i swear, i will always remember that concert ! !

OHHHOH ! ! right now, , , 1 - dream sweet in sea major (my beloved song <3) (miracle musical), 2 - whose eye is it anyway??? (jhariah), 3 - scherzo (twosetviolin), 4 - overdose (grandson), 5 - ASAP (STAYC)

OOOUGHH ,, ,   lemme, ,, rn it's  1 - hawaii: part ii, 2 - death of an optimist, 3 - to mend the sun (technically an EP but whatever), 4 - lush, 5 - obnoxious liberal: the musical

DUDE ALL OF THE ABOVE I MENTIONED I'D LOVE TO SEE LIVE !! I ALREADY SAW TWOSETVIOLIN LIIVE BUT UGEGAEUAH I'D KILL TO SEE ANY OF THE OTHERS LIVE </3

16. Do you know any random facts about your favorite artists that most people don't know?

the entire hawaii: part ii album is an abstract reference to 9/11 - most prominently shown through the release and video accompanying the single "variations on a cloud" 
eddy from twosetviolin is actually really fond of blackpink ! despite the "sell out" video - eddy has talked about on multiple occasions about liking blackpink :)

17. Is there an artists who you dislike strongly as a person but enjoy their music?

i mean, when there's artists that have done bad things - i just fall out of listening to their music naturally ;; [ex: GRLWOOD] so basically, none right now ! as far as i know tbh

19. When you listen to music, do you pay more attention to the lyrics or the instrumentals? 

depends on how many times i listen, if i listen to it over 10+ times in a row i'll start paying a lot of attention to the instrumental ! ! 

20. Is there a song that never fails to make you cry?

21. Are you one of those people who sees color when they listen to music? 

i don't really know ? ?  i mean, i imagine colours but i doubt i experience it in the same way that people with synesthesia do 

22. What was the last thing you listened to? 

knives are dangerous, kid, so cut the theatrics ! (live from the bad luck tour)

23. Is there a certain decade or era of music that you're drawn to? 

it varies from genre to genre ! for rap, i LOVE 80's-90's rap but for like, a lot of other genres i tend to be more drawn to 2000's-early 2010's type stuff :D

24. Do you watch documentaries on music or bands/artists?

YES ! ! if they exist, i will most DEFINITELY be watching them don't even 

25. What are your thoughts on music festivals? 

idk ! ! never been to one so ;;
