evangelion ramble

so some things have been happening in my life recently, and i just want to talk about them because why not.

i want to talk about my relatively recent obsession with evangelion. it started in september, and i've let it take complete control over my life. i cannot stop thinking or talking about it, and it's starting to get somewhat embarrassing. i've had stuff like this my whole life, where i'd get fixated on something and think about it non-stop, draw about it, write about it, ect. (i later found out that those obsessions were actually a sign of autism, which my therapist thinks i have along with my mom and myself.)

anyway, rei ayanami is the best character in the whole show. maybe it's because i relate to her the most but I DON'T CARE!!!!!!  she's not only one of the most skilled pilots, but she's also really modest (like as in not self-centered) and likeable. i feel like people overlook her a lot because she doesn't speak too much and is distant, but that argument just sounds like hatred against quiet/odd people (i fucking hate those people). she is a perfect representation of feeling unaware about your own identity, as well as her not knowing how social interactions work,  and i find her really relatable in that way. the scene with her smiling makes me tear up every time, it's just so touching.   

also can we talk about the angels? those things looked WEIRD and i LOVED THEM 

my favorite is sahaquiel, the orange eye thing. very cool

i'm tempted to research the bible a bit more to get some information about the archangels, maybe it could clear a few things up for me about the show.
