Vampires flicks is a subgenure of movies I like so here’s a list of my top 3!
Btw if could recommend a vamp flick I would love to try it out!🫀
1} The Lost Boys ~
This film changed how the movie industry saw vampires as a whole. Instead of the common brooding gloomy such like Dracula insists on the idea of vampires represents vampirism as a young kids game a fun life where consequences don’t matter. The plot being two brothers moving to los Angeles recently discover that the local biker gang are more dangerous then they appear. First vampire movie that got me into the genre I highly recommend! 🦷
2} Queen of the damned ~
The soundtrack alone is a valid reason to watch this film I still have the songs from it in my playlist {plus a deaf tones song} This movie being about a vampire recently returned from a slumber wants to find the vampire that turned him and in order to do that becomes a lead singer in a rock/metal band and tells the world he’s a vampire hoping to find other vampires. Definitely some queer undertones {most vampire movies have that anyway} and I like to pretend this movies explanation of the “Original” vampire to all vampire movies. 🦷
3} Interview with the vampire ~
A true classic vampire film mostly done in narration a heartbreaking story a vampire telling a journalist his life story beginning from when he joined the “darkness”. This movie had the most queer subtext out of the other two like not even joking. Anyway the story and narrative is really great it’s a pretty long movie. If you wanna see a “classic” vampire the Victoria on era the Shakespearian language and of course.. brooding watch this film. 🦷
