how january went

It is February. Yay.

January has been... quite boring. I didn't do much, besides for like breaking my laptop's touchpad and being sick for a week. It was really boring. I also got my report card... lets say my math grade can certainly be better. I didn't fail or anything, but it's not good. Though I did discover a bunch of cool bands!! Raid (can find them on bandcamp and spotify) are a really neat shoegaze-goregrind mix band. I've also been listening to some Circuit Circuit... They're also really good. And a bunch of local punk bands, those are cool too, but mostly I've been bopping some hardcore, punk and mathcore. The Dillinger Escape Plan is still my favorite band like ever though.

Anyways, vocal synths!! yippee

On January 9th, released Cheng Xiao! She's a synthesizer V vocal meant to sing in various beijing opera styles! isn't that cool? her voice is gorgeous. But again, she's apart of the Dreamtonics alphabet soup gang so I don't like her all that much.

On January 13th, released 4 talk to speech voices for voicepeak! There's Asumi Ririse and Asumi Shou. Ririse has a more gothic theme which is really cute, but Shou has a super cute cherry blossom theme and she's adorable! well, they're both adorable lol. Alongside them also released Tohoku Zunko and... Frimoman update. ok. Very not fitting among all the moe girls but sure I'll take it. I guess. Alongside Zunko there was also bundled Zundamon, so I guess that makes it 5 voices. There also came out 3 more default voices but I don't care much about them.

On the 25th, released COKO! she's a CeVio AI, and I love her!! Her design is awesome, and I love how her voice sounds like. She sounds really adorable, she's like the more vivid amongst the other Musical Isotope vocals. I also love her theme!! I think we need more vocal synths with cyber designs. Her and SEKAI, so far, are my favorites. Voice-wise my fav would still be SEKAI though, but design-wise COKO solos.

On the 31st, released the long-awaited Xia Yu Yao Synthesizer V AI voicebank!! she was supposed to be released in fall 2022, but she's finally out!! I LOVE her... her japanese crosslang is not exactly my cup of tea but her english and chinese are gorgeous. Her design is also SO CUTE?? she has this adorable butterfly theme that looks mad cute... and the fit is so gorgeous. She deserved whatever fame she gets purely because of her immense slay and yass as a voicebank and as a character. I hope I get to hear more originals with her!!

and well, that's it for January! can't wait for February because February is gonna be exciting!!
