POETRYYYYY/ WRITING SONGS

so I've been writing music lately and it got me thinking. How can you rewrite poetry into songs. Like I have enough cool poetry to release an album, but like I wanna make it flow more of a song yk??? But like that's my little dilemma right now. I did write some songs and its like emotional hardcore and post hardcore. It's very cool, one's a sad song the other is a love song
