midsommar...um

okay so i know this movie is like a Great Movie. but does anyone feel like this kinda give classic female rage via male gaze..?

i love a good female rage. i love a good female rage depicted through a female gaze because we root for her and her cause (revenge?). idk man. the plot of the movie doesn't ingratiate the protagonist to me and kind of just feels like the moral corruption of a woman because ofqsw\\y7]

lol my dog just stepped on my keyboard. i am typing this on the ground so it's not like she leapt up like some acrobat. but my dog is actually very much like a cat. even my apple device photo gallery classifies her as a cat so. anyway i am keeping her message in because it is a lovely memory. and also bc it's very funny. 

but yeah. doesn't it kind of read as a good person being corrupted by the male manipulator...effect? i just watched (i know i am late to the party but hey that's fashion baby)
