I think you should give it a try. I read Homestuck for the first time a bit less than a year ago and I had a lot of fun and got a hyperfixation that even now months later hasn't shown any sign of getting less intense out of it. Mostly just because Homestuck is so different from 1 whatever I was expecting it to be and 2 what fiction in my experience at least, is usually like. There's a lot of genuinely interesting stuff there. Especially the characters, this webcomic has some of the most interesting character writing I've seen in a while.
Just one thing in case you end up deciding to read Homestuck. You'll have a better experience if you read over the unofficial Homestuck collection than if you read over the official website
It starts off kinda slow, there’s a few let’s reads on YouTube if it gets annoying. After the first part though it gets really interesting so id kinda recommend it
If you want to, yeah!! But i will warn you now, you will spend several hours explaining all of the lore to your friends who will have no idea what you are talking about. (i know. i was the friend.)
