This took me way longer to get around to playing then it should've, but I've played through the SEGA Saturn classic Burning Rangers. This is one of the non-Sonic games made by Sonic Team. In this game you play as futuristic firefighters and take out fires and save people from them. For a SEGA Saturn game in 3D, the graphics are excellent, there's a lot of neat effects and lighting in the game, and the cinematics look great too. The music is also very enjoyable, but that's to be expected from a SEGA game. As for controls, this is one of the SEGA Saturn games compatible with an analog stick, and I highly recommend using that for this game. Movement in this game is solid, no need to worry about tank controls with this title. Level design is also fantastic, and the use of the voice navigation system and audio cues in this game add to the experience and tension of the levels. The only real "problem" with this game is the length of it, there's only 4 levels in the story campaign. Not that I mind though, short arcade-like games are very much my thing, and there are randomized elements in each level that adds to the replay value. If you're a SEGA fan and you ever have the opportunity to do so, play this classic when you can, preferably as soon as you can.
Just played Burning Rangers!
