remembering a world that never was

Sometimes I feel nostalgia every time for things that never happened. Like walking through a field of flowers at night or sitting on a bench in a cemetery while it's raining. 

I can't explain why this happens but the more I think about it the sadder I get.

Is some one else experiencing this?
