Why I Dye My Hair

In honor of my new hair color, I thought I should do a blog on why I dye my hair

I have been dying my hair since I was 12, and I've come a long way from then. I mean, I still do it mostly out of impulse but, now I know what I'm doing. I know what dyes work best for me, and I know which process is the best to use for myself.

I love the freedom it gives me. The fact that I can do anything I want with my hair and no one can stop me. I like knowing that in a way, my hair is art. Since we're all just skin sacks carrying around our consciousness, we might as well get customize our bodies to whatever feels most comfortable. You only live once ya know, mine as well make every bit of it interesting. From this, you can kinda tell I'm big on tattoos and piercings. I absolutely love how we can customize how our physical form looks to reflect part of the person we are on the inside. 

This post isn't meant to shame those who don't have piercings, tattoos, hair dye, or anything else. If your comfortable in your body on your own / don't want those things, own it!! That's totally up to you just a lot of people get shamed for having these things so I wanted to sorta make this a post about how cool I think it is
