Finished playing Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2

After two weeks of getting all the alien plushies found in 19 areas, I seemed to have finished playing Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2. I did remember playing the first game when one of my brothers enjoyed the living hell out of it circa 2000 on the Nintendo 64, with the second (I think) being played on the PS1 from my cousins. But when 2020 was the year it came out on PS4 PRO, XBOX ONE X and EGS, everyone seemed to love it so much that Activision and Vicarious Visions decided to negotiate with Turn Me Up of porting it over to other platforms like PS5, XBOX Series X and most notably the Nintendo Switch several months later.

Sure, it was met with critical acclaim for bringing back most of the songs from both titles, and the fact it was re-released as the Game of the Year version. But the one thing I'll never forgive was that frequent falling and combo chains made my thumbs hurt like hell. Good thing I've got an ice block in the fridge, maybe that'll help me soothe 'em out. Though, I was able to take some photos home that revolved around alien plush locations and a couple of UFO's found in some areas. I can't show you where (save for the UFOs), but I guarantee it was an enjoyable yet painful experience.

And considering Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2 is Vicarious Visions' final work before they were renamed to Blizzard Albany, I personally don't see anything else I have on my mind. When I heard of the Roswell Alien being accepted by skaters, it made me want to buy this game only for the alien alone. It wasn't about the officer or the oh-so-adorable Spider Man (No hard feelings to every Spider Man fan, since I admire his expressions with his own eyes); it was about my passionate love for aliens being skyrocketed to massive proportions. Anyway, may consider taking it back so I can earn more cash to save up, so all that's left to say right now for Vicarious Visions' state is this:

"Thanks for all the wonderful memories, exciting games and everything else included, Vicarious Visions. It's been an honor supporting you, so maybe in the future, your legacy will forever live on. Until then, stay gold."
