day 1 diary entry

Its day 1 of the apocalypse i dont know where my friends or family is, i only took what i could in a hurry. everyone is panicking nobody knows anything about the disease spreading except that it turns everyone in a sort of zombie? i don't know what to do but il just try to find other people to become friends with so we can figure this out togheter. I really hope i find some friends i dont think i can do this alone. In my bag i have some canned food, a bottle a wind up flashlight and a first aid kit. I don't know how to open the cans of food though im going to need to find a knife or something to open it. Not to mention something for self defense. I really hope everything turns out okay.
