how the hell do i see notifications on here

i feel dumb cause every other social platform ive been on has a notification viewer thing where i can see who likes my stuff and comments and shit like that but there doesnt seem to be anything like that on here? 😭 am i just too stupid to find it or does that just not exist on this site

Typically to the left of “home” at the top, there is a bell that apeares when you get a notification. I don't know if it tells you when you get kudos, but I do know that it lets you know when you get a friend request or have someone reply to one of your comments or blog.
