I don't really know how to feel about P!ATD breaking up yesterday. I haven't liked any of their albums since DOAB, but I think I'm gonna miss P!ATD being active & around. Its probably just the nostalgia of being an emo trinity obsessed pre-teen that makes me miss them.
Honestly I think that panic! sort of died after V&V was released, and Ryan Ross left. Since then it hasn't really had the same soul as it did before. I could listen to AFYCSO from beginning to end and love every minute but I can not bring my self to listen to any album after too weird/too rare. Idk. What do you all think. I personally think that out of all the years that P!ATD was active, only 6 years had great music. The rest ranged from decent to the worst thing that you'll ever hear.

i think it is just the nostalgia of it. in my opinion panic wasn’t really panic anymore once most of the original members had left. panic was ryan’s writing (which is what made it so good LMFAO). brendon might’ve benefited a little from just releasing the later stuff as a solo project rather than under panic’s name, since there IS an audience for it it’s just. not panic fans
yeah! You're so right. Panic today isn't panic, its Brendan Urie, and his style is so different than what panic fans are used to. If he ever does music again I hope he doesn't use Panics name, and separates his future music from it.
