Entry #1: 01/23/23

Well, let's take this from the top! (*＾＾*) I'm probably gonna start writing some journal entries here cause why not? Maybe every Tuesday (even though it's not Tuesday) and Saturday? We'll see. I've never really had a digital journal before (especially one that's virtually public [I might change that.]). I'll try my best to not overshare or give TMI. Anyway, here's the good stuff:

I had some of the best sleep last night, likely because for once, I meditated. In fact, I didn't wake up early when I didn't want to! For whatever reason, my weekends so far this year have always ended on a wonderful note, only for the following weekday to try everything its power to make me scowl. Getting to school was no problem, and my first class was alright. AP Stats is always nice since we're such a small class and we meet all year, so we're like a little family. We actually got off-topic multiple times, but we still had fun and were able to learn. (⭒•͈ 𓎺 •͈ )

The problem came in AP Gov. I had a reading quiz today and was unsure of what exactly to study for over the weekend. Well, the quiz wasn't what I studied for. I was super frustrated the whole time I took the quiz. Also, it was all writing, so no chance here! It's early in the semester, so I will have many chances to up my grade after this terrible blunder, thankfully. Guess I just gotta bury my mistakes. (｀・ω・´ )b

Finally, in animation, we got our groups! I got my first pick when we voted for stories! My team captain was a little reluctant to accept my ideas and I'm afraid that because I'm a senior that she sees me as intimidating. I try my best not to be, though. I hope we can get along and finish this project, it's so cool to work with someone who came up with such a brilliant idea! I realize that I haven't been so excited in a while. It was exhilarating.

Anatomy brought me back down to level. We completed some notes and I have been assigned a project. It's relatively simple, we're just making voting campaigns for cell organelles. I find my anatomy teacher's assignments to be quite wacky, but some of my classmates really get into them, and they help us remember the material.

Economics was also alright, I just wish that we didn't have an assignment each day of the week (save for weekends, of course).

Today was pretty cold, but when I was in the sun, it was as if it were Spring. Speaking of Spring, I could really call this period right now the Winter of anticipation. I'm waiting for my birthday, for another break, Spring Break, AP exams, graduation, etc. Why, why, why? I just want it to be late May already! (◞‸◟)

...But patience is a virtue. I need to strap in, it's gonna be a long week. I always get into this horrible habit of staying up late on school nights to finish work, while I sleep early on weekends cause I have the time...

Anyway, I probably need to log off. (✿◡‿◡ฺ)
