Crying in H Mart is a great book about a lady who learns to make food while her mother is dying, and reflects on her childhood and her relationship with her family. It’s a great book, and the author is Michelle Zauner who is the lead singer of the band Japanese Breakfast, who I’d also definitely recommend.

I'm not sure if this is your kind of book but i've been looking into getting Paper princess by Erin Watt ( haven't read it yet) its just been sitting in my amazon cart. Im very much into mafia romance and stuff of that general genre, hope you like it :)
