Living Dead Spirits #2

This story coincides with the first story. The same type of spirits have been seen multiple times sometimes leading to the death of the person. This story takes place in the late 70's in southern West Virginia. I try to avoid posting names of the person's as much as possible.

It was a late night and a man was driving back to his house. He had just had a heated argument with his girlfriend.  As he drove away from her house, he came to a bridge at the end of the road. He began to slow down as a thick mist crossed the bridge. Inside the mist, he saw a person step up from under the bridge. He came to a stop and watched as they crossed . When he looked closer at the person, he saw his girlfriend dressed in funeral clothing. In terror, he threw the vehicle in reverse and drove back to a neighbor. He tried to explain what he witnessed and called his girlfriend in tears. She was still home and was perfectly ok. 

Unlike the other spirit, this one did not lead to a death.
