unforeseen devotion

im currently making an otome romance game with some of me and my friend's ocs and i have to learn how to code while making it so thats totally fun! its very hard but i rlly wanna to this. to give some background to this game, you are in college and you meet these eight handsome(?) guys and theyre all weird and like half of them are not human n the game is rlly stupid but it'll be great guys i promise

so far, i've written most of the first in-game day and game up with some necessary details like relationship points and the title screen and fonts and stuff like that. ive also put in some messy sprites just so i can see what the game'll actually look like, so it looks super stupid rn but its still in the first stages!!! not using the sprites or backgrounds in these pics, gonna draw my own backgrounds eventually and add more detailed and rendered sprites!

i know. a lot of people. chia isnt romanceable tho! this game isn't meant to be taken THAT  seriously so its rlly silly and for fun :-) i think i'll keep updating this with whatever i added and did

1.21.23 wrote hyde intro, organized scripts into chapters, downloaded more early bgs, added to game outline

1.22.23 created custom textbox and changed font of dialogue text. changed interface to light.

1.23.23 fixed menu option idle color, more screens/gui fixes, wrote more hyde events, fixed hyde sprites, added more hyde sprites
