Best of Beats 2023 - Top 50 Countdown Mix!
Every year we get an online event hosted by Deshima Sounds where the top 50 eurobeat songs are played live for everyone to see the rankings. I personally made the decision to mix these songs and create a 'digest' of all the songs. This will continue with next year!
Initial D EUROBEAT Selection NON-STOP MIX for NOSTALGIC Drivers
Another mix I made for eurobeat.online, the theme I picked was songs from Initial D's stages 1-3. I incorporated scenes of the anime into parts where the songs are present in the anime. It was a lot of fun thinking up the transitions.
Lonely Love (DJ Cat vs. R.S. Edit) / Sophie
This was a duel collaboration between talented DJ R.S. (Roppongi Suicide) and I. We had a lot of fun discussing the collaboration idea, he's an incredible Japanese DJ that I had the honour of editing one of the most emotional and phenomenal tracks 'Lonely Love', also featured in Initial D. We felt we could up the ante and create something unique, that we did!I had to frequently use a translator to communicate, and with a few months of production (especially from his side), we created a overseas edit you won't forget!
