im asking cos one of my favorite games EVER is ghost trick: phantom detective, but theres SO LITTLE about it online, fan wise. anyone who plays it speaks positively but theres not too much in the way of active discussion or fan art. but other than that, its hard to find people who HAVE played it, and its a shame because its super super cool. i try to get fellow ace attorney fans into it, since its another adventure game by shu takumi (yes, theyre adventure games, not visual/sound novels. there is a difference!).
hotel dusk is another title i have not picked up, but seems to have a small/inactive audience despite how interesting the art direction is, although ghost trick is fantastic on all fronts, its art direction is one of the things i point to it being a must play in my book.
does anyone else have cherished ds games like this? id love to try anything interesting, or just hear about something someone doesnt get to talk about nearly enough.

YEAHHHH i love ds games!!! a childhood favorite is Magical Starsign, a weird magic space rpg where all the characters are named after food... the story is very goofy but i was totally into it as a kid. and one i've recently grown fond of is Magician's Quest: Mysterious Times, a magic school clone of Animal Crossing with really varied "villagers". i'm honestly still trying to figure out Magician's Quest because the magic system is a bit confusing and it has like... quests that take a bit to figure out @_@ but it's really special!
i'll have to give ghost trick a look, i'm not really big on puzzles but it looks like it has a lot of personality :D

I don't really see anyone talk about Pokemon Ranger anymore. My favorite was Shadows of Almia. It was such a good game, the characters all had their own personalities. Even the villain grunts each had their own personalities. Also the story was absolutely amazing. It also was just one of the games I grew up with, I think i've done about 7 or more so play throughs of the game. I wish they would remake it somehow for the switch.

Meteos (DS) is a 2005 tile-matching game developed by Q Entertainment and published by Bandai for the Nintendo DS. It was produced by Q Entertainment founder Tetsuya Mizuguchi and designed by Masahiro Sakurai. Meteos was inspired by the video game Missile Command, the film The Matrix and the tv show 24.
It's basically a "shoot-and-lift-up puzzle" game and requires you to use a stylus to move colored blocks - the eponymous "meteos" that fall from the top of the screen.
This game has, like, two(?) sequels being Meteos Online and Meteos Wars. The game also has endings depending on which route you take on the story mode.

I love this game 10/10. I first found this from a Whoisthisgit video (Creepy Bad Endings #69).
Heck, there's a Discord server dedicated to the game.

hi my dear sweet beautiful wife........ i talk abt this all the time the topic comes up in our convos...... but ill talk abt it here for ppl who dont know abt it....... im a huge starfy head :) starfy is one of the best platformers on the ds and i will literally actually kill a guy if they dont think that also........ it is pretty kirby-esque.... it IS a beginners game...but dont let that deter u..... its perfect to just kinda play, and its relatively cheap second hand starfy is a retired brand now unfortunately ;( but i hope with more attention brought to it, it will return to the west........ starfy own my heart 4EVER

If you like retro games you’ll probably like Pokémon platinum and the Ultimate NES Remix. They’re both pixelated and the NES Remix has levels from the original versions of Nintendo games
