yall. yall. its 2023.... are we really grooming kids on fucking spacehey?? while people shouldnt be grooming people / being pedos in general, why the fuck r you creeps doing it on spacehey. [targeted at the wackjobs reading this btw cuz like what the fuck r u guys doing] [ also hoping anyone whos been effected by the whole spacehey grooming / grooming in general are doing alright and i am truely sorry this situation has happened cuz no one should have to go through that] [and while im here, contenet / trigger warning??] anywaysss, seriously? like cmon this is a website for people on the internet to blog abt their interests and to talk to people not to be fucking groomed. like what? im not the most "in" with the darma but from what ive heard its gone too far, like this is a multitiude of people doing shit like this. please think about what you guys are truelly doing and know that this can have major backlash on the person you are selfishy doing this to

Long story short, it's because SpaceHey is a small site and most of the users now are minors. Most of the kids I see posting on here are between 10-16, don't have great relationships with their parents, and probably aren't educated (or just don't care) about internet safety. They're posting selfies and face reveals while stating in the captions that they are a minor. Coupled with the fact that SpaceHey is pretty obscure, they target it because the likelihood of it having real-world consequences for them is very low.
It's not Instagram or TikTok where information can go viral and the pedo can be exposed once it reaches the right people. There are no popular "influencers" or big creators to draw attention to things. They know they can pretty much get away with it scot free.
