New Music Equipment Advice

hey everyone i was just wondering do i really need sound proof panels everywhere? currently i'm in my room in the corner its not to big or anything. i also currently have an arm setup with an at2020 mic with a pop filter with an isolation shield around it. any tips or things i should change?
