when you were/are a kid, you memorized ur family members footsteps coming up the stairs and figured out what mood they were in?

bcs the other day my dad was pissed at me for no reason and he was stormin up the stairs. I was just chillin in my room doing my homework. I heard the steps and sprang up and locked my door.

He was pissed bcs I left my backpack downstairs after getting what I needed out of it.
