Like Thoreau, I go
to the great once known
within my own reliant self
to find my health
amongst the wealth of reality --
To explore once more
what I adore within the core
of our shared humanity,
which was lost to this illusion of society.
Though I adjourn, I may return
having learned to discern
sincere concern from the churn
inside of me.
I hope, my friend behind the avatar,
We'll meet again, should we align the stars,
and see each other for who we are,
beautiful complexities.
