New Years Resolution

Hi everyone!

This is my very first blog entry, so I decided to start off with a motivational/personal one. I've been really struggling with not only self-perception, but physical issues as well. Although I won't go into too much detail, I just know I need to change my life up a bit. 

So 3 resolutions I have this year are the following: 

Eating better

Exercise

Procrastinating less

As someone who suffers from depression, doing anything in life can seem like a chore. But I want people to know that it's possible to get them most joy out of life even though you might be battling a seemingly daunting unbreakable force that is depression/mental health. Just getting up each day and doing the small things are big achievements in of themselves, so whatever task you complete (big or small) be sure to celebrate them. Also be sure to go easy on yourself at times, like many people say "Rome wasn't built in a day", and even though I know how cheesy and stupid it sounds, it's really applicable when it comes to complex struggles we go through as humans. 

If someone hasn't told you today, just know that you matter, and whatever you put or set your mind to, you'll achieve nothing short of greatness.
