Danganronpa 2 and Its Ending

I think I get what the ending is trying to communicate, but if the message is "hope can overcome anything" then I am really disappointed. I am exhausted by such tropes. I am not saying such adages are inherently out of the place or should not exist but at least they should not have tainted such a series that tries to tackle deep topics "should what extent the establishment of education interfere with the lives of students", "can personal trauma predetermine someone's future actions"...etc. 

I don't like being disappointed at all.
