How to remove the un-removable friends

Spacehey is an awesome website that allows us to code our profiles to show, hide or add whatever we want. Some of us hide our comments or our URLs, but today I accidentally accepted the friend request of someone with their 'remove friend' button hidden.

There's nothing wrong with having a lot of friends, but it's unfair to hide buttons such as 'block', 'report' & 'remove'... At least in my opinion.

As a bit of veteran in scrictly web browser platforms, it was easy for me to remove this profile from my list, but as I was doing it, I saw this profile had 15,000 other friends, some of which are probably wanting to remove them as well.. So today, I share a small and easy tip.

Solution One: Type in their permalink

A permalink is the string of numbers attached to your profile when you first make your account, it is your first profile URL and your 'forever URL', meaning it will always lead back to your account no matter how many times you change your URL. If a person has not updated their username from their permalink, perfect. Type in https://spacehey.com/unfriend?id=their permalink and hit 'remove'.

Solution Two: Their permalink is hidden

If you're on desktop, try hovering above literally any link that relates to them on their profile. This can include 'bulletins', comment replies and even their source code by right clicking + ctrl-f and typing 'id=' until you come across what looks to be their permalink. Copy or memorise those numbers and type in https://spacehey.com/unfriend?id=their permalink in a new tab.

Make sure you check back on their profile to see that you're not friends anymore. If you noticed they've somehow hidden the '_ is your friend' before you deleted them, go check your personal friends list rather than hassling to check their own if it is hidden.
