Hens did some cleaning up before he left for work today. I know it sounds small, but he doesn't always have time, and it means a lot. <3 He's so good to me.Â
I had so many things I wanted to do after work today, so what did I do? I took a nap. (It was a very good nap.) Luckily, it was only two hours so I'm still able to do most of the cleaning I want before I have to cook dinner. Yuna and Binx, the cats, are very clean, so I hardly have anything to worry about with them, save for the litter box and some litter tracking on the floor.
(Yuna is the calico, Binx is the black cat. They're my loves.)
Sometimes life feels monotonous. Wake up, go to work, come home, make dinner, clean, go to bed, repeat. Then it throws in little surprises, like Yuna throwing a mouse toy into the water bowl, or the neighbors getting chased by their dog because he got off leash. They definitely got all the kisses once that dog pounced, too. The little things make life worth it, honestly. Even on the hard days.
I should stop procrastinating and get started on dinner. Stay healthy and safe!
