honestly just a small rant for my own sanity
so on tiktok ive seen those countless of fucking videos on bluey adults and how theyre bronies and while i do see the similarities but it has not become that bad yet honestly.
bronies have killed people, have been horrible and traumatized kids and i dont see how bluey adults have done that so far, while through the popularity spike the amount of porn has been increased.
but thats just the internet, its an internet rule and while its also controversial its not that bad.
i dont understand how its only controversial when its seen as "cringy", theres countless of hello kitty adults and they arent seen as controversial so i dont understand it.
how are hello kitty adults any better than bluey adults.
i see that bronies are worse than bluey adults and i totally see how people are scared of the bluey to brony pipeline but eh???
i just had to get that out of my system it probably doesnt make sense but eeeeh.

I dont Watch the show but my take on adults watching kids cartoons is a bit mix.
I don’t think adults watching cartoons made for kids is a bad thing. Some adults didn’t get to have a childhood and so indulging in that media can be a form of comfort, not to mention some people with disorders may find it comforting. However, I am on the agreement that they need to keep it out of children’s areas. Unlike bronies, which I grew up watching MLP since it came out at 10 years old, I want the adults watching Bluey to NOT overflood children’s spaces w/ R34, gore, and fanfic. That was the problem w/ bronies. The amount of grooming that happened in those spaces was insane.
Watching children’s media is like being at a park. Adults can be there and enjoy it in their own time but by no means should they start climbing the jungle gym with 5 year olds around. That’s weird.

I’m just seeing the spike in the whole bluey thing.. I think when something is mainly for kids and you happen to enjoy it that’s fine.. but don’t rlly make a whole bunch of theories and assumptions on the characters like they have deeper meaning to it… it’s a kids show.. it’s made for kids. Why would there be multiple layers for a kid to decode it??
honestly i dont get why people want to find deeper meanings in everything.
why would a 5 year old look into a show they braindeadly look at during snack time to see if it has a deeper meaning???
also the whole "bluey makes me look after my kids better!!!" argument makes me wanna commit a crime like what kind of sick parent would you be without bluey.
kinda ruined my hopes for humanity.

In general, people sign up for things that they aren’t ready for.. kids being the main factor.. maybe they just use the whole “bluey makes me a better parent” thing to mask the fact that they don’t know how to take care of their kids.. and just jokes around about it. I’m Turing this conversation into something about having negligent parents tho… I’ll save that for another time.. I just think we have too many weirdos in this world.
