How much wood can a wood chuck chuck rhyme

The rhyme of how much wood can a woodchuck chuck is a woodchuck could chuck wood doesnt make sense to me cuz how r u gonna say that when woodchucks chuck wood

 (no they dont but in my imagination they do) 

like they could chuck as much wood as they want cause they are woodchucks so why is it even a question?
