HAPPY NEW YEARRRR (kinda late but thats alright)

Hi everyone! Happy New Year to everyone in SpaceHey and beyondddd :D
Ngl for this year, I hope Victorian Scene exists cause I think it'd be a fantastic idea aesthetic wise! (Lmk if anyone has this ideaaa)
But seriously though, me and surely many people experienced a difficult time bearing over the constant news around the world, the pandemic that started three years ago, and other external and internal issues. It's only up to us to decide whether we should change ourselves and which part of it. If people can't keep up with their goals of a particular succession, that's perfectly fine. There's millions, even billions of people who has done the same thing regardless of it being a reminder that you've set for the new year. That's why I actually appreciate the New Year.

Also, my dad and I made our first cake! He had two options which was a Black Forest or a White Forest. He wanted to do a White Forest but I insisted on the latter.
I was actually kind of pissed about my dad taking so long in preparation of so many products, but I can't blame anyone. Baking is a talent!
Thankfully, it turned out okay because we got the help of a YouTube video, and I got to make and add the Buttercream frosting! :D
However, one of the cons of the cake was that we let it bake in the oven so long that the cake was actually stiff and hard, the top part of the cake was difficult to cut into... Yuck.
And also, since butter was used in the buttercream, I couldn't help but keep being reminded of the fact that I was tasting butter and it was the consistency of it too. (Even though it was the finished product..)
Here's a picture!
A round, 9 inch wide cake. It has semi-sweet chocolate shavings on the top and there is frosting around the top sides of the cake. On The frosting bits, there are red cherries placed in each one. The frosting also has tiny ones placed beside it and the cake is covering in white buttercream. It's placed on a silver cake board in a white refrigerator. There's also a bottle of Pure Leaf Lemon sweet tea behind the cake.
