Thinking about the day my school decided to hold an end of the year's party and the students could choose which songs to play.
Right when we where going down the stairs it started to play the intro from Pumped Up Kicks. I started panicking for it because I was always aware of the dangers of school massacres.
Even if the song turned out as a meme, you would be scared for your life in that situation.
I tried to warn my friends about my concerns but they just laughed off.
Before I could do anything, the vocals started and the song was a remix of Pumped Up Kicks and a national funk that was about a girl who dances and drinks.
Later that day I found out that this remix was becoming famous at the time and I panicked out for nothing.
Honestly it's so stupid to play that kind of music in a school, knowing that the original version was written about a real massacre and everyone knows the song because of it.
But even more stupider is to mix a serious song that tells the story of a tragedy with a dance pop with poor lyrics.

Still, it's kind of funny. Maybe not to you, but they seemed to be having a fun time. Some people just don't know right from wrong, (although what's right and what's wrong varies from person to person) especially in school.
