It’s mornings like that make me grateful I lived in New England for 15 years and adapted to shoveling snow in shorts.Â
My poor boyfriend on the other hand? Not so much lmao.Â
It’s a toasty 36 degrees Fahrenheit (2 degrees Celsius) this morning, meaning there’s a nice layer of frost on the roof of the Altima. I grab my coffee and a hoodie and I’m ready to go - poor Hens is searching high and low for his winter jacket while throwing toys to keep the vicious cat beasts at bay.
Working at 6 am is hardly a thrill, but I do quite enjoy my job, so I really can’t complain. Housekeeping/Laundry Attendant isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, but I enjoy the fast pace and cleaning has always been good for my constant anxiety. The residents at the nursing home that aren’t overflowing with racism are funny too, so there’s always something to look forward to.Â
We’re heading over the overpass now, so I’m about to enter the wonderful world of housekeeping. I’ll be back either during lunch or after work. Ciao loves, stay healthy and beautiful!Â
