growing up and getting old

today i woke up at the ripe time of 5:45am and drove myself out to the beach for the sunrise. i brought my little book and sat on the beach (didnt even swim or wear a swim suit) and read for a solid 3 hours. then i listened to a podcast, had lunch, visited an antique store, and went home (all by myself might i add). is that not old lady behavior or what?? i sit here today typing my silly little thoughts at the age of 17 years old but dude that shit was literally such old people behavior. literally no teenagers go to the beach to read a book lets be honest wtf. i actually thought occasionally looking up from my book and just watching all the people around me was fun. FUN? never once in my life have i enjoyed people watching up until today, 12/29/2022. i am just short of 10 months away from being 18 but i am now beginning to think i might be growing grey hairs and getting wrinkles already. has my coolness and youth already been swept out from underneath my feet? is this what aging is like?
