End of the year wrap up

Welp I totally missed my coding goal lmfao But I'll tell you what I DID do. I fuckin...learned how to do taxes? professionally? ??????????????????????????????????? Idk man the money's good and it feels so fuckin nice to be off my feet.

Christmas was GREAT, I had such a blast and got a ton of books! The gifts I got the s/o were a hit too. Speaking of books, I'm pumped for this year's goodreads challenge. 2022 my goal was 12 books, and I surpassed it by knocking back 19. So I think for this year I'll double it and go for 24. I already have my eye on the last book in the spawn of Lilith series, which has been such a fun urban fantasy read. After that, I hope my office job doesn't leave my brain too mushed for some nonfiction, cause I scored quite a bit of that at christmas. some real nice political science stuff. I have a feeling this year I'm gonna make a sizeable dent in my shelves this year. I found out from a recent glance at a "if you like this try that" article that a good follow up to the Discovery of Witches series is a book I happen to have on hand, "The Physick Book of Deliverance Dane". I want to knock out a lot of the thicker volumes I have sitting on there too, like "The Pillars of the Earth" and "the memoirs of cleopatra".

I'm also feeling the rp itch. Will I revive the old story? I can never stay away from it long. Every creative thread in my muscles hums to create again.

2023 will be a good year. A prophet told me so. I'm optimistic, and starting from a good spot. I'm continuing on my healing journey, the distance between myself and my enemies grows greater still each day, and my house is warm with joy. To new years, new friends and old.

Your blog makes me feel all the warm and fuzzy feelings, It's so great to hear about your accomplishments even though I don't know you xD. You make me feel motivated to actually do something today rather than rotting away while playing games all day, Thank you for your awesome aura!

asdfghjkl; AWWWWWWWWWWWWWW thank you!!! Oh, sweetheart thank you so much! That made my day! I do a little here, a little there. A lot of the time it doesn't feel like I'm making progress towards my goals at all, but thats just because steady, sustainable progress feels slow. I feel ya on the video games thing, I get sucked into stardew valley and Sims 3 for HOURS till my legs cramp. For me, resisting the video game urge is a little easier when I make a plan for what I want to do instead. Like today I wanted to start a new book so I planned what blanket to snuggle in to read, and got excited about the coffee creamer I would use for my drink.
