CW: Animal bones
I finally got a new bucket and aquarium heater for degreasing/macerating! Now the processes will hopefully go much quicker. I once again forgot to take close-ups of my ‘yote, but I did take photos of my sweet button buck.
My new bucket & heater setup:
(I added the buck after I took the photo)
Close-ups of my button buck:
Pretty sure his cause of death was by predation, due to the gnawed-on holes in his skull and the various bloodstains.
I’m glad he was found with all of his teeth!
His nasal bones were taken out unfortunately, I wish they were kept in place, they look pretty neat.
He has plenty of dirt in his noggin so i’m happy I finally get get him and my other skulls properly cleaned. Stay tuned for more bones!

That's so cool! These type of skulls always remind me of the wilderness and stuff, verry nice to see someone take care of them
