Hope your day has been fantastically frightful >:) Wanted to share some fun things I've found as of late. To stick to the Xmas theme, I'll start with some festive songs. Big fan of the new song Wintering by The 1975, love the sort of postcard/small movie style of the lyrics. Peppermint Winter by Owl City is an old favorite for me! Anyone with an older brother who has stuffed snow down their coat can probably relate. I Don't Know How But They Found Me has quite a few great Xmas songs, some less cheery than others! And, of course, the emo classic 'Yule Shoot Your Eye Out' by Fall Out Boy has to top my list.
Beyond Xmas music is of course movies. Spirited was decently funny, though I'm a little sick of musicals starting to all sound the same. 8-Bit Christmas is a new family favorite- extraordinarily clever and nostalgic. New Christmas Story was pretty solid, surprisingly. If you're looking for an absolutely horrific film- try Christmas Mail. Terrible, TERRIBLE film, but so funny because of it! My favorite spooky classic is Nightmare Before Christmas. Can't have the holiday season without it!
Less festive now, a neat little website I found. If you're on here for nostalgia, then I'm sure you'll enjoy it. Check out myretrotvs.com They have televisions from each decade and you can exclude or include whatever types of media you want! Cartoons, movies, sitcoms, etc. Super fun to kill time on.
Anyways,
Merry Christmas ya filthy animals, stay c00l.
