Merry Christmas! Two cool albums

Merry christmas guys!! I wanted to share two cool christmas vaporwave albums that i love listening to around the holidays. i got them both from Pad Chennington's christmas vid a few years ago

CHRISTMAS IN THE HYPERMALL - DJ Bloody Sunday

CHRISTMAS IN THE HYPERMALL - DJ Bloody Sunday

This is such a cool album to listen to. It samples a ton of different genres, like hip hop, hymns, advertising jingles, and video game OSTs, but everything still revolves around the central theme of christmas. It makes you feel like you're lost exploring a bunch of randomly sorted holiday-themed content in some digital world. The album video also goes really well with it, and along with the mall announcements played through the album, it really brings the digital mall to life.

Christmas at Crystal Valley Mall - モールFUTURE/PAST

Christmas at Crystal Valley Mall - モールFUTURE/PAST

While Christmas at the Hypermall is kinda more experimental, Christmas at Crystal Valley Mall is more of a typical vaporwave/mallsoft project. It features instrumental covers of holiday songs edited in the classic mallsoft style. It's really relaxing while also being very festive, it definitely gives me the feeling of being in a quiet mall with christmas decorations up and snow falling outside.

I love listening to both of these albums around christmas. I love Christmas at Crystal Valley Mall for its more relaxed vibe, it's really great to unwind after going out shopping at a crowded store or rushing to get the house ready for holiday guests. Christmas at the Hypermall is a really great upbeat but still atmospheric album, and combined with the video, i think its a really solid piece of holiday entertainment.

Merry christmas again to everyone who celebrates, i hope you have a great holiday and check out these albums if they sound interesting ^_^
