help

this guy and I have had a thing since I first moved to my current school. he left the school and suddenly went to Angola and we kinda drifted. his friends would always tell me he was in love with me and when I got a boyfriend his best friend told me I broke his heart (he was joking, I hope). he just got back yesterday after 2 years and I miss him lots but our 'relationship' is uber complicated. we've never had a labelled we were just in the talking stage like 5 times. and he always calls me these pet names and says he's my daddy (LMFAOO).  I wanna meet up with him but 1) I don't know if he wants to see me and 2)we haven't seen each other for 2 years and I'm scared he thinks I look ugly now (+my confidence is non-existent).
