Inspiration for Outfits (Help!)

Ok, ok when it comes to picking my outfits there's a blend of inspiration from various Youtubers, some Instagramers, and sometimes Pinterest. Lately I've been tied between pastel goth, emo, and galaxy goth ( if some of you can remember that time period). Although I love them so very dearly, its been a challenge to find sturdy material that will last a long period of time. Not to mention the fact that it cant look like I borrowed someone else's clothes XD. My regular clothing are mostly vans, converse, long sleeves, hoodies, and cardigans. But with shorts it never seems to work with me same with bell bottom. Im 5'2 and theres are several options I want to try out but they have some short comings:

• Cosplay (my confidence for this is not there.......someday I hope)
• Cybergoth (not a fan of pvc material)
• Gothic Lolita (Dresses are ridiculously expensive and my sewing skills are at a noob level)
• Rockabilly (God help me with the hair and heels :')
• Steampunk (hit and miss depending on mood)
• Dark Academia (Brown doesnt work with my body at all)
• Emoboo (yeah I know you're going wth...so am I but looks like the younger sibling of someone who might be apart of the "e aesthetic")
• Preppy goth (I WOULD KILL TO PULL THIS OFF.....if my butt didnt lift up the back or the blouses didnt constrict my chest)
• Corporate goth ( if I ever worked for a company that allowed this style, I would be there for life. Sadly there aren't much V-V)

Any advice ._.?
