That’s what the tarot cards told me
They told me you think of me
The same way I think of you
I’m too scared to tell you
I went on The Unsent Project
And told you everything
But you’ll likely never see it
But there’s always hope
Hope that you’ll go on there
And search your name
With that uncommon spelling
And you’ll see the three messages
In dull purple
That I left there
Just for you
And maybe
You’ll see these poems
I’m writing here because
You’re constantly plaguing my thoughts
I can’t stop daydreaming about you
I have a playlist dedicated to you
Full of songs that I use
To daydream about you
I wish those daydreams were real
That you would whisk me away
And take me somewhere
Like my knight in shining armor
I wish you’d hold me
And kiss me
And call me sweet names
And that you’d never let me go
I wish that all that were real
And that I’d never have to go
And leave you
As soon as the school year ends
I hate the weekends
Because I don’t see you
So I go to your concerts
Once a month on Saturday
To watch you play the flute
So beautifully
And I wish
That I were as good as you
I wish that you’d teach me
How to make my lips move like yours
How to make my fingers delicate
How to be so elegant
I love the concerts
Because I can stare at you
For hours
And it doesn’t matter
I love the concerts
Because afterwards
You always hug me
And your hugs are the best
I feel so many things for you
Is it love?
I’ve known you only two years
Can it be love yet?
It feels more than a “like”
More than a crush
If only there were a word
To describe the feeling
I asked my tarot cards
How you felt
They said you felt
Exactly how I did
How can that be
If I get so flustered and blushy around you
And you’re always so cool and collected
Never anything less than perfect
