Seven Random Characters I Adore, and How They Glue Me to the Screen

It’s very important for an anime to have characters that make me glue myself to the screen. Whether it’s action anime, adventure anime, slice-of-life anime, fantasy anime, comedy anime, or whatever. These seven characters grabbed my attention and made me want to support most of their goals. And here are those characters!

Oh boy. This is going to be an interesting one!

Harumi Takeda is the main male character of My Senpai is Annoying. He’s really big and loud. He is the supervisor (and love interest) of Futaba Igarashi, the main female character of My Senpai is Annoying. My Senpai is Annoying is a romance anime done right, as I really like the two main characters of this anime. Not only that, but he is very kind to Futaba. He’s voiced by the same person who voiced Dio in the English dub.

Tippy is one adorable puffball. The most interesting thing about this fluffy animal is that after Chino’s grandpa passed away, his soul was transferred to it. Now Tippy is usually seen with Chino-chan, who herself is currently my favorite anime character.

Eucliwood Hellscyhe is an interesting character, as she doesn’t talk. But, in imaginary scenes, she is voiced by a lot of voice actresses. Think how the voice acting was handled in Pop Team Epic, but with only female voices. Of course, I love her design.

Konata is my #1 favorite character whose name starts with a K, and I had the honor of meeting the English voice actress of Konata, Wendee Lee. She is like the ultimate combination of cute, cool, and otaku. The blue hair stands out. Lucky Star’s style stands out. Her personality stands out. Lucky Star was one of the most popular anime ever made.

On paper, Sanae Dekomori should be one of my absolute favorite characters. But in practice, Rikka Takanashi is one of my absolute favorite characters. They’re both chuunibyous, and I just love her hair. While both characters are cute, I feel that Rikka has twice the amount of cuteness as Sanae due to their personalities. Dekmomori is more hyperactive, and she is associated with hammers in her chuunibyou form. I really like chuunibyou characters as they stand out for their eccentricity.

And lastly, there’s Izayoi Sakamaki. He’s overpowered and has done lots of cool things. In fact, he was one of the first male characters I loved. On a scale from Touya (very bland) to Adam Blade (very unbland) for overpowered male protagonists, Izayoi is somewhere in the middle, leaning towards Adam Blade. I haven’t watched the Problem Children anime in a long time, and I only watched it in 2 days, so maybe he did something very special.
