birthday plans

my birthday is coming up and originally i wanted to take a few friends to a hockey game, but as the day is still getting closer the right time to buy all the tickets still hasn't presented itself. still haven't bought the food for christmas dinner and all that so i've been thinking of cheaper backup plans. 

i could go to the movies with my friends, certainly much cheaper but not really adventurous. could go shopping at the mall for stuff for myself (what i usually do, since my birthday is so close to christmas i usually have given a bunch of gift cards and then i go shopping). or i could try out axe throwing, which LOOKS cheaper as i think you pay for just the time slot and can bring however many people without an extra cost so it should only be 25 bucks. but idk if im too interested. . . i mean it is a new thing ive never done but i don't like weapons. . .
