intro

the title was possibly misleading, this is just a random ramble about my life currently because ive sort of been having an ongoing crisis of self for multiple months now. maybe thats actually a sign im exactly where i need to be but this isnt another one of my philosophical posts.

what ive been into lately

ive been listening to a lot of elliott smith (as always), i really like the lyrics in memory lane, i feel that i relate to it sort of? listen to it. its brilliant. ive also been listening to a lot of punk, such as bad brains, dead kennedys, ramones etc.

i rewatched series 1 of stranger things and now am (how can i put this in the least giddy teenage girl way possibly??) very much a fan of charlie heaton. im pretending this isnt real because, if you know me, im a major asshole and wont let myself enjoy anything that anybody i know has heard of.

you can probably tell from my philosophy posts but im a big fan of the comedian bill hicks right now, it wouldve been his 61st birthday today which is very cool and also very unfortunate that he died at such a young age.

my very cool day today

i received some awards from my school today, i won the award for best drama student and best health and social care student. if you dont know what health and social is (i wish i was you) its basically being given a sheet of paper that says "keith is 52 and going through a divorce, sandra took the kids, how is keiths wellbeing impacted?". its a game of bullshit basically.

i also got a certificate for a poem i wrote on the cost of living crisis and its apparently being published in a book on the 13th january 2023. thats exciting but, ironically, i have to buy the book myself and i get no profits at all.

i went ice skating last weekend with a friend of mine and it was brilliant. my knee is completely bruised now though, worth it.

conclusion

i have more plans for posts about my comedy writing soon, including a 100 word story about an alien drug addict called zinky zook. prepare for that to be posted. i dont really have any other plans for the future, im off school now until january so ill likely just binge watch christmas specials of sitcoms.
