Embers Diary #3: I've been sick for over a week!

Thankfully, it isn't covid! However, I was told it was most likely the flu-- which isn't much better.

The worst of it is over already, but i was just now prescribed antibiotics and steroids. That doesn't make much sense to me, because antibiotics don't help with infections that aren't bacterial (i think!). I won't take them because I have a fear of antibiotic resistance.

I will continue drinking electrolyte drinks, drinking warm tea, eating soups, and drinking juice.

I missed being here! I feel like I'm somewhat getting my energy back.
