romeo and juliet- a review (NO SPOILER NOW)

everyone knows about romeo and juliet, right? romeo and juliet is a play written by williiam shakespeare and its probably the most well-known „love story” of all time.

i feel as though most people know the plot of this play and knows how it ends.

i had to read this book for a school project and i did manage to leave it to the last minute. i suppose i was lucky because plays are usually short, but tbh it was pretty hard to read because it was written in the form of (mostly) poems with lyrics (idk if thats what those are called, but i think you get what i mean)... rich in vocabulary, short, what can a reader ask for other than these in a good book, right?

i must agree that i did indeed enjoy reading it. the portrayal of blind love is expressed so well here and it just shows a dark side of love that isnt seen in media too often, that side being: breaking the boundary of ethics and therefore changing ones mindset but also excuses bad things like murder „hes my husband” dont care its still murder lol

anyway i just wanna say that i did like the book
