My status isn't a joke. The best dreams of mine are ones rendered in PS1 and N64 style of graphics. One of my most vivid dreams from childhood, that wasn't a nightmare, was a top down view of myself as Ducky from The Land Before Time: Great Valley Racing Adventure running around a parking lot in what I can only assume was Colorado.
Recently I've begun to have dreams that appear ordinary to me as I am in them, but when I wake up I realize they were being rendered in the same style as the first Toy Story movie. But not just rendered like early CGI but rather the way my mind interpreted Toy Story as a child, which filled in a lot of details in the background to make the movie feel like real life even though looking at it now you can see some stuff in the background of that film that looks flat as sprites in Mariokart 64.
My roommate had also built a totally sick office chair rolling angled bamboo mat using IKEA parts in this dream and it looked super nice in the dream but even dream logic me knew that rolling over it with the office chair would absolutely suck since it was raised off the ground so much. Still creating floor patterns to direct your eyes with rugs or something might be an idea I should look into while I continue to figure out how to decorate my space.
