first of the weekly van life updates

hi all!!!!

i figured i should do weekly updates, once a monday! we should think of a fun name to call these life updates. monday madness. monday funday. monday.............. is my custody switch day i'm going back to my dad's house this week!! yippee!! love my dad.

last week was REALLY REALLY REALLY busy i spent HOURS every day doing nothing but making kandi for my school art show, while also trying to catch up with other assignments and study for finals. i've decided to just not study for any finals cause i feel confident enough??? and if i fail i fail i guess?? i've gotten straight a's this whole semester so i should be fine. i tested the grades in canvas and it's like, yeah, it'll be fine.

the art show was friday, i made $134 ish initially and then another one of my friends spent $12 so i made closer to $146 altogether!! it was awesome!! i'm definitely gonna sell stuff at next semester's art show too. i'll probably also open up an etsy at some point.

i finished slaughterhouse five this week too!! i absolutely ADORED IT, the book is so so so good, i love. it. so much. i've decided im gonna get a tattoo of my favorite line from the book!! then, on saturday, i went to the library and taught my friend, gray, to make kandi!! i taught her how to make a peyote stitch cuff and a saturn cuff. we now have matching saturn cuffs!! then we went to her house and watched episode 9 of our flag means death together-- i love that episode SO MUCH and i'm glad so many of my friends have been willing to get into ofmd with me!!!

then on sunday we went to the mall-- not the small one in my town, but the big one about an hour away!!! it has SO MANY cool stores, i bought christmas presents for 2/8 of my friends (dw, i already bought gifts for another 2, im making gifts for 2 more, and the other 2 supposedly dont want anything, so i'm on my own :,3). i also got a cute little glass elephant for my mom and a book of poetry and photography for my dad!! so needless to say i spent most of the money i made at the art show. whoopssssss,,,,,, but it's no big deal i'll recoup after christmas money haha. i can't wait to go back to that mall and treat myself a bit!!! maybe buy some hair clips from claire's or something. i'll probably check a store we don't have back home-- maybe akira? if im not too dysphoric for that oops

this part is a bit more negative, TW for animal sickness and veterinarians and graphic descriptions of blood and poo: my puppy must have eaten something or potentially got sick because he's been pooping in the house EVERYWHERE and it's bloody, plus he's been listless and tired, so my mom took him to the vet today. i was really scared because intestinal blockages can be fatal, especially for puppies like him-- he's only 4.5 months old for christ's sake!! but anyways the vet is keeping him overnight and they're gonna run tests to try to figure out what's wrong. i just really hope it's not too expensive, but i know it will be if he needs surgery

anyways, this week, looking forward-- i have finals :,) but then at least the semesters will be over!!! and i have final projects as well. since i go to a project based school, we have more final projects than final tests. that being said, i dont feel any better about those!!! im so worried!!!! i have to do a book review on slaughterhouse five, which isn't that hard, but like, i just can't do it!! it has a word limit of 450 words and so it's so hard to say everything i want to say about the book!! 

i also am pretty sure i'm going to my cousins' house this weekend for my cousin's birthday and christmas-- which should go about as well as it always goes :( i mean, it's fine!! i just have to mask when i'm there, and i'm not out as trans, which is bad all around. but gifts and money are cool >:3
